About Our Students Concern for the Future enrolls 75 students in the best boarding schools in Uganda. They are doing incredibly well. Half of our high school students attend the best 11 high schools. • 46% were in the top twenty. (The average class size was 78. The largest class size was 221.) Student achievements New Vision, Uganda's largest newspaper, chose two CFTF students, as top students in Uganda.They are Kasozi Hilda of Uganda Martyr's Senior Secondary School - Namugongo and Bayona Victoria of King's College Budo. Only 11 students in the entire country were selected. Bayona Victoria was selected as one of two Ugandan exchange students at The Brooks School in Massachusetts for six weeks. Kasozi Hilda was appointed deputy head girl at Namugongo. Bayona Victoria was elected deputy head girl at Kings College Budo. 3rd Term, 2007 Results • Kasozi • Kimbowa Julius was 2nd and Kibalama Joseph was 3rd at St. Joseph's Nagalama Secondary School. • Muwanguzi Joseph was 3rd at Budo Junior Primary School. His siblings, Nantaayi Sarah was 9th and Ssenyange Frank came in 10th in their classes at Budo Jr. Pinyoloya Patricia was 11th. • Nantongo Madinah was 5th and Kusasira Moses was 8th at St. Peter's Nalya Secondary School. • "A" Level student Kamoga Moses received 19 points at St. Peter's Naalya and Katongole Godfrey achieved an 18 at Uganda Martyrs SSS Namugongo. • Oweka Saviour and Nakyeyune Sanyu achieved first grades on the Primary Leaving Exams (PLE). In 2006, Ssekanjako Musa, a former street kid, got a score of 6 on his Primary Leaving Exam, the best score ever achieved by a street kid in Uganda. • Stella Nabakka and Derrick Yiga scored first grades on their S4 examinations.• Kayiranga John was 2nd at his primary sc • Kimbowa Julius was elected Mess Minister at St. Joseph's Naggalama. Jjuko Joachim was made class monitor. Bukenya Aloysious is a class monitor. Nantayi Sarah, is a house mom at her primary school. Wasswa Stephen received a school service award at Namugongo for his work in music, drama, and dance. Wasswa Charles and Okello Ronald were prefects of their class. We are particularly proud of Ronald, who was abducted, saw his father killed, and lost his right arm. At first, he cried often, avoiding other students. Within months, he was named prefect.
